LEGACY GIVING
One of the most valuable and lasting way to invest in mission and ministry of the church, even beyond one’s own lifetime, is to leave a legacy gift as part of your will.
We have seen firsthand how a single act of generosity has transformed our monthly Evergreen Fellowship into a vibrant multidimensional ministry amongst the older people of our church, local residential care homes and wider village community.
Legacy gifts can make an enormous impact.
You can leave a legacy gift to St Leonard’s in your will by the addition of this simple clause:
“I give ___% of my residuary estate free of all taxes to the Parochial Church Council of The Parish of Oakley with Wootton St Lawrence (registered charity number 1131064) in the Diocese of Winchester for its general purposes, and I declare that the receipt of an officer of the Parochial Church Council shall be a sufficient discharge to my executors and trustees.”
